Restyle Your Smile
Whether you are interested in correcting a single problem tooth, or you're looking to completely revamp your smile – veneers could be the ideal solution to your smile woes!
Before veneers existed, dentists had to perform multiple treatments such as orthodontics, restorative work, and teeth whitening to get similar results. But now, with veneers, we can help you achieve your dream smile in one fell swoop!
What could veneers do for my smile?
Veneers can be used to smooth out uneven surfaces, mask chipping or discoloration, reshape problematic teeth, reduce gaps between teeth or even straighten the overall appearance of your smile. Come see us and let us know how we can help you fall in love with your smile.
Same Day Veneers by CEREC®
Our dentists can produce custom-fitted veneers in-house, in a single visit, thanks to CEREC. This technology allows our team to take digital impressions of your teeth and fabricate custom-fitted veneers right here in our office, while you wait.
The Veneer Process
If veneers are right for you, your dentist will take a 3D image of the teeth being treated, create a digital model, and choose the best shade of white for your veneers. Then the model goes to the CEREC milling machine where your custom veneers will be fabricated – right here, on-site.
Next, your teeth will need to be prepared so that the bond holds as long as possible. Once your teeth have been etched, your dentist will bond your veneers to the teeth being treated. To finish off the process, your veneers will be polished to match your natural teeth.
Features of Veneers
Veneers are ultra-thin pieces of porcelain that are carefully colour-matched and fabricated to fit precisely on individual teeth. Each veneer is bonded to a tooth in order to alter its colour, appearance, size, or shape.
Some key benefits of veneers include:
- Veneers can transform a smile dramatically, in a short period of time.
- They can be colour-matched to blend in with your natural teeth.
- Veneers resist staining, helping to keep your smile brighter for longer.
- With proper care, veneers typically require no additional maintenance.
- Veneers can last between 10 and 30 years with proper care.
- Today's veneers require minimal removal of tooth enamel to adhere well.
- Dental veneers even have the power to boost confidence in many cases.
